Pakistan is one of the signatories to the Agreement with WTO and complying with the provisions of ARticle VI of the General Agreement on Traiff is and Trade 1994 and Agreement on Implementation thereof and has introduced legislation to bring its trade laws in line with its international commitments. The Anti-Dumping Duties Rule were made in 2001. Ther Countervailing Duties Ordinance was also promulgated in 2001 and the Countervailing Duties Rules were made in 2002. The Safeguard Meausers Ordinance was introduced in 2002 and the Safeguard Measures Rules were made in 2003. Further, these laws were updated by legislating the Anti-Dumping Duties Act, 2015, the Countervailing Duties Act, 2015 and the Sageguard Measure (Amendment) Act, 2015.
